Great hybrid shoe! A very comfortable shoe sandal hybrid. I purchased these because I wear orthotics and love sandals in the warm months. I originally purchased them a half size larger (11) than I would normally wear (10.5) thinking that they would be larger as is the case with most Keens. Turns out they were what seemed like a whole size if not a little more larger than I normally wear. I returned theme for a 10.5 and all is fine. They also seem to run a little narrower than my Newport sandals and trail shoe. But the soft leather really hugs my feet nicely for an excellent fit. It also turns out that the supplied insert actually feels as good as or better than my orthotics. They have a deep lug sole that might imply trail use. But for me there would not be enough lateral support for any serious off trail hiking. I am a big guy and need good side support when walking on inclines or climbing. They can be worn comfortably with or without socks.
