I work in construction, mainly remodeling and interior mill work and am on my feet most of the day and on ladders often running crown molding and such. So I needed a work shoe that could hold up to light construction with all day comfort and these fit the bill nicely, they have good arch support and don't have big lugs to pack dirt in the house but still have good grip and when I need to remove my shoes to enter the house these slip off and on easily. These will also keep your feet dry when you have to walk around in the wet grass. The wrap around rubber toe cuts down on wear on the toe when I'm down on my hands and knees running base and shoe mold. They aren't a bad looking shoe either so I suppose they would also be a good casual wear shoe.
